Hey guys,

I'm sure you get many "I used to own this car" claims, but I bought this car back in the mid 80s.
At the time I had a Group N Mk2 3.0 XPack and the bodywork was getting tatty and embarked on a project to find a decent Mk3 3.0 S we could use to reshell the car. It was then I came across Coo 251T at a car repair garage called Conquest Engineering in Dorset, it was still in its standard format, but someone had added a red line down each side. Of course at that time I had no idea it was the car from the series and we preceded to rehouse the Xpack engine/suspension etc into the shell of COO although we left the bottom half of the engine intact as we figured it would be plenty quick enough. To this we added Janspeed exhausts and wolfrace wheels.
The suspension and top half of COO engine were then installed in a Blue 1.6 Capri (S Reg I think)
The car was then in my possession until I purchased a Black 2.8 Injection and sold COO to my brother in law who like myself was big Capri and Professionals fan. He had the car for a few years before selling it to a friend of his. It was only later we discovered the car was used in the series.
I am fairly sure I still have pics of it, unless I gave them to my brother in law and he would certainly have hung on to them.

I'll do what I can about filling in the detail and posting some pics up, but it may take week or so

Cheers
Steve
